General Terms of Use
1- Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to the acceptance of customers’ vehicles following a booking on royalnavette.ch, which provides a vehicle storage service for vehicles entrusted to it by its customers. To this end, it enters into a contract with its customers, the elements of which are these general terms and conditions, together with any amendments.
2- Liability of royalnavette.ch
The liability of royalnavette.ch begins upon receipt of the vehicle. Consequently, one copy of the confirmation is kept by each party. The service includes the storage of the vehicle in our private and secure car park, as well as the free shuttle transfer. royalnavette.ch is not liable for breakdowns or damage occurring to vehicles entrusted to it, nor for their consequences, particularly those resulting from lack of maintenance, electronic, mechanical or tyre defects, wear and tear of parts and components necessary for the proper operation of the vehicle, or insufficient oil, fuel or water. In the event that royalnavette.ch is liable, it shall only be liable for material damage within the limit of the insurance cover taken out with Helvetia, up to CHF 5,000,000. royalnavette.ch accepts no liability in the event of storms, hail or any other damage caused by natural causes. royalnavette.ch reserves the right to start vehicles using jump leads in the event of a flat battery and may move vehicles if necessary. royalnavette.ch offers various additional services: cancellation insurance and vehicle cleaning, the details and prices of which are shown on our “prices” page. If the customer chooses any of these services, they acknowledge that they owe royalnavette.ch the price of these services.
3- Customer liability
The booking must be made on our website royalnavette.ch at least 24 hours before the desired time. After this period, bookings can only be made by telephone. The customer pays for the services provided by royalnavette.ch by credit card at the time of booking. The customer contractually undertakes to hand over the keys to their vehicle when it is handed over to the staff of royalnavette.ch. The customer must leave the vehicle registration document and emissions certificate in the glove compartment of their vehicle and entrust their vehicle to us with both number plates. No refund will be made in the event of cancellation less than 24 hours before the collection of your vehicle, except in the event of flight cancellation. Refunds for bookings are made in the form of credit in the loyalty account, which can be viewed in the customer area. At the customer’s request and by email, the refund may be made to the credit card used by the customer who made the booking. Please keep your booking confirmation in a safe place and be ready to present it when the vehicle is returned. In the event of loss of the confirmation, royalnavette.ch cannot be held liable if it is presented by a third party who uses it fraudulently to collect the vehicle. royalnavette.ch undertakes to cover all damage caused to the bodywork of the customer’s vehicle, provided that a descriptive vehicle condition report was carried out upon collection and at the customer’s request, that the damage or new condition was noted by both parties, and that a mutually agreed descriptive report is drawn up upon return, before the customer leaves the collection point. If no descriptive report was carried out when the vehicle was collected, royalnavette.ch accepts no liability for any potential damage and shall not be liable for disputes concerning the condition of the vehicle raised after its return.
4- Applicable law and disputes
This contract is governed by Swiss law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation and performance shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva. royalnavette.ch reserves the right to modify part or all of these general terms of use at any time.
